Attached to owners house this studio offers quiet relaxing and restful accommodation with countryside views. The studio has a private garden for alfresco dining on warm summer evenings. There are stables adjacent with 2 horses and a pony and all can be seen in the adjoining fields. There are 2 barn cats and a domestic cat together with our little old dog. There is a pool with loungers and seating area for guests to use.

Our interests are countryside, horses, gardening and exploring this beautiful part of France. We enjoy meeting new people. We have lived here for 7 years and made many friends.

The property is located in a rural area in a small hamlet of 7 houses but within less than 10 minutes of a supermarket. Ruffec is approximately 15 minutes away and has all the facilities of a larger town , supermarkets, banks, restaurants and a typical french market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The picturesque village of Nanteuil en Vallee is 5 minutes away with its historicn Abbey, antique shop, small grocers shop, two restaurants and a cafe. There are river activities on the Charente with canoeing and swimming available. There are many historic villages in the surrounding area together with Angouleme, Limoges and Poitiers all approximately an hours drive away.
