With panoramic views of the Pyrenees, this renovated farmhouse charms with its rustic features artfully combined with modern facilities. The gite has a spacious kitchen with dining area and views to the Pyrenees. The family bedroom is located on the ground floor and includes an en-suite shower room with toilet, the well equipped kitchen is also situated on the ground floor. The double bedroom with king size bed is on the upper floor along with a bathroom and the living room. The property retains its character farmhouse features with stone walls and exposed beams staying naturally cool in the hot summer months and retaining the heat in the winter. Outside the gite has an open terrace with garden furniture and barbecue allowing you to enjoy outdoor eating with a mountain view and the sunshine. Sun loungers are also available for those relaxing days soaking up the sun with a good book. Parking is available for up to two cars and is onsite.

We live in a separate gite on site along with our two children and two dogs. James is a keen cyclist and is more than happy to share his knowledge of the routes available to you and even to join you on your rides should you wish. Amy is a wonderful home cook with a passion for baking! She is also keen on running around the local area, living on a hill makes even a short run a challenge! Both Amy and James enjoy being outdoors and experiencing all that the Pyrenees has to offer and would love to share this with you too.

Castelvieilh is a small village just 14km from the bustling town of Tarbes. Surrounded by forests and little villages, the local area offers peaceful walks, rivers and lakes. Tarbes offers a multitude of shops, restaurants and culture and hosts many events throughout the year. If you want mountains and lakes, heading into the Pyrenees in the car or by bike couldn't be simpler. Whether you want to hike, ski, swim, raft or just enjoy the breathtaking scenery, the Pyrenees offers it all. The Gers with it's famous Jazz festival in Marciac borders the Haute Pyrenees and is just a 30 minute car journey. Wine tasting in the vineyards of Madiran is just a 45 minute car journey and there are beautiful churches and abbeys on our door step with the Abbaye de Saint-Sever-de-Rustan just 9 km away.
