At the crossroads of Landes, Basque country and Béarn, in between the Atlantic West Coast, the Jurançon vineyards, and the Pyrénées mountains, our Guesthouse L’écrin des Gaves benefits from a gorgeous view on the river Les Gaves Réunis and the typical alluvial plains renowned for its kiwis farming. Located within the charming bastide of Hastingues, this is a house of character surrounded by gardens richly tree filled. The four beautiful bedrooms offer a comfortable layout, a stylish design and a warm atmosphere.
Dedicated to the residents of the house, a continental breakfast is served in our Dining room or on the terrace, both facing such an exceptional view on the river and the grassland. Dinner is also available on a request basis and upon a 24-hour in advance booking.
Our guests have free access to the outdoor swimming-pool, the gardens and the library.
L’écrin des Gaves is a good starting point for discovering the “Val d’Adour Maritime”, a scenery itinerary along the river, driving until Bayonne that we easily reach in 35 minutes. The beautiful sandy beaches of the Silver Coast, Seignosse, Hossegor, are located at 50 minutes driving.

The bastide of Hastingues, the River and the Abbey of Arthous are registered as National Heritage. Hastingues is on the pathway of St Jacques de Compostelle pilgrims.
Located at 9 km, the Abbey of Saint-Jean de Sorde, registered at Unesco world heritage, is also a key point for a cultural visit.
It is easy to make a walk through the grassland, or to go fishing just close to our house, or even to make a ride along the Val d’Adour Maritime.
Within a larger area, between ocean and mountains, many sport and leisure activities can be recommended: go for trekking, horse riding, canoe-kayak or stand-up paddle, play golf, discover the beautiful endless sandy beaches, enjoy a thermal treatment, taste the region gastronomy.
