This 18th-century stone house, located in an authentic mountain village in the heart of the Maurienne valley, has been tastefully renovated to offer a pleasing mix of traditional style and contemporary luxury. The perfect retreat for enthusiasts of mountain adventures, Francoz, with its high-speed lifts to Orelle/Val Thorens/ Les 3 Valleys is just a five-minute drive away, while the many ski resorts of Maurienne are an easily accessible 30 minute drive.
Before your stay, I can be reached by email, telephone or message during working hours, to answer any questions you may have. Please note, I speak English with some limited French only. I will be there to greet you upon arrival and show you around the property.
The house is located in a small, tranquil village. While there are no amenities in the village, the town of Saint-Michel-De-Maurienne with supermarket, bakery, banks, pharmacy, tabac and restaurants/bars is just a five minute drive away. There is no public transport to the village. You will need a car to stay at the house. Please note that snow tires/chains are obligatory during winter in the mountains. There is ample free parking at the entrance of the village.
