The OVO Network team’s opinion - Chalet Evelyn is ideal for families or groups of friends looking for comfort and space, with three floors designed to accommodate 10 guests, including eight adults. On the ground floor you’ll find the main living room, which is bathed in natural light. There’s a comfortable seating area with sofas arranged around the fireplace, as well as a dining room and a well-equipped kitchen. Guests visiting in winter will appreciate the ski room, with a heated boot rack, which is close to the entrance. The living area opens onto a decked terrace which has an outdoor lounge, a dining area, and sunbeds. It overlooks a flat garden, perfect for children's games and summer sunbathing. Upstairs, you will find a double bedroom and two rooms each with two single beds. Two of these bedrooms share a balcony and a shower room with a WC. The third bedroom has its own bathroom with WC. The landing is arranged as a reading and games area,  with bookshelves and a television. On the lower ground floor, you’ll find a family room with a double bed and two bunk beds, a shower room and separate WC. Children in particular will appreciate the third living room, which has a TV and game console. There’s also a sauna and a spacious laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. There’s room for one car in the garage, and spaces for several more outside. Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.

Chalet Evelyn is between Morzine and Avoriaz, giving you great access to the 12 ski resorts of the Portes du Soleil ski area. With 650km of excellent slopes and 200 ski lifts, the domaine is a winter sports paradise, stretching across the French border into Switzerland. For those who don't ski, Morzine offers many other winter activities, such as ice skating (indoor and outdoor), snowmobiling, ice climbing, sledding, and of course snowshoeing or sleigh rides. In summer, the chairlift keeps running, opening up a whole network of trails for hiking or mountain biking. Some of the many other activities on offer include rock climbing, rafting, via ferrata, canyoning, mini-golf, fishing, and kayaking. The Morzine-Avoriaz area has been awarded the Famille Plus label for its programme of activities and facilities for children. It has two water parks and two summer toboggan runs. Indiana Parc in Morzine offers treetop assault courses, rafting, and many other activities for all ages, while Parc des Dérêches has swimming pools, tennis courts, an ice rink, a skate park, and a horse riding centre. Finally, don't forget to visit Lake Montriond for a day of swimming, the nearby Brochaux waterfalls, cheese farms, and weekly farmers' markets.
