We offer a self-contained cottage (or gite) with an open double bedroom on the 1st floor. The cottage is in our enclosed courtyard across from our house. Downstairs: open-plan lounge, kitchen, dining space plus shower room. Upstairs: double bedroom with gabled roof. TV with Netflix. The cottage has been lovingly restored from an old stable and finished in solid timbers; it is compact but equipped with everything you will need for your getaway. Babies are welcome but please note we do not provide any beds or equipment for children. Free parking is included.

I am a New Zealander living with my English partner Nik who is a potter and builder. We love the simple life in France and have a passion for "making things" whether its our own canned produce, sculpture, glass jewelry or a new wall as part of our ongoing renovations :) We have a small friendly dog and 2 cats on the property but the animals will not be in your private unit. French and German also spoken. We have been hosting visitors from all over the world for 5+ years via a work/student exchange program, our B&B and gite. We are happy to share both our property and our local knowledge. You can use our garden and there are plenty of outdoor seating areas in the courtyard.

We are 1+ hour from Calais & Arras, 2.5 hours from Paris, Brussels & Reims; in a quiet rural village, 5kms from Hesdin (which has shops, cafes & restaurants). The Seven Valleys is a well-kept secret in northern France with an ever-changing landscape of undulating farmland; simply but beautiful countryside and friendly people. There is excellent cycling and we are 40 minutes from several stunning beaches. Ideal for singles and couples travelling for pleasure or business. You can park in the courtyard; or there is plenty of parking on the street nearby. You will need a car (or a bike :) ) to get around. Bicycles can be rented short and long term from our local tourist office.
