Gîte "La Mater" like "the mother" in Latin, a tribute to the grandmother whose house it was.
This 3-star gîte, in the countryside, will offer you comfort and tranquility for a rejuvenating and successful stay. The calm of the place and the garden are very appreciated. The walks in the surrounding area will offer you beautiful views of the Chaîne des Puys!
We live on the other side of the courtyard and are often there for advice.
The cherry on the cake is that my massage parlor is at the same address!
We're a family of four and live on-site. We'll run into each other from time to time :-).
We can advise you on places to visit or the location of shops.
Persignat is a small, quiet village in the commune of Aubiat.
Here you'll find a bulk grocery store (Ô p'tits bocaux), a goat farm, beef (de Meuh en Mieux), and more.
A walk around the village will allow you to admire the Chaîne des Puys, including the iconic Puy de Dôme!
There's a children's playground, a forest garden for relaxing, and numerous walking and cycling opportunities.
Ideally located halfway between Clermont Ferrand and Vichy, 15 minutes from the A89 and A71 motorways, Persignat is an excellent starting point for your excursions.
Parking is free and easy on the street.
