In this village on the banks of the Loire, between Angers and Nantes, you will be charmed by this old house with 3 levels, with noble materials (tiles, old parquet flooring, tuffeau stone characteristic of the Loire, etc.) and its terrace. 60m² facing south overlooking the Loire. On the ground floor, you will have a living room with television, an equipped kitchen (fridge, oven, dishwasher, induction hob, etc.) with direct access to the terrace. To warm up in winter after long walks, you can use the wood stove (wood not provided). On each floor, you will find two bedrooms sharing the same bathroom with bathtub and WC: one has two 90cm beds and the other has a 160x200cm double bed. The bathrooms are adjoining one of the bedrooms and do not have independent access. A separate toilet is located on the ground floor. Outside, you will enjoy a beautiful terrace with garden furniture, deck chairs and parasol, an ideal place to relax and admire the Loire which varies over the hours and with the seasons. For your comfort and to lighten your suitcases, the beds are made upon your arrival and bathroom linen is provided. The owners, passionate about history and antique objects, will be happy to share the history of this village with you. The cottage does not have private parking but you can park in the surrounding streets or in the free public car park 50m away. Historic border between Anjou and Brittany and a former merchant port, the village offers numerous services (crêperie, pizzeria, bar and restaurants, etc.) and seasonal entertainment as well as a beach on the other side of the Loire in summer. You can also stroll on foot or by bike on the Loire à Vélo circuit and discover the surrounding villages (Saint Florent le Vieil and its abbey church, Chalonnes sur Loire and its market, Béhuard Island, etc.) or fish along the banks of the Loire.
