Renovated old house, located in the courtyard of a main house, adjoining outbuildings, near a year-round rental property. Separate entrance. On the ground floor (with interior steps): living/dining room (fireplace), kitchen, shower room, WC, 2 bedrooms (1 double bed) (2 single beds, 1 single bed). Wi-Fi. Private 300 m² garden with a small enclosed 40 m² courtyard (garden furniture, barbecue, deckchairs). Private heated swimming pool (4x5m) open from June 15th to September 15th. Bicycle storage available.
Aizenay 12 km, Challans (markets in the mornings except Monday and Thursday) 12 km. Mini-market and bakery 4 km away in Saint Christophe du Ligneron. Options: End-of-stay cleaning: euros49/stay; Bed linen rental for 1 or 2 people: euros10/bed/stay; Towel rental: euros8/person/stay.
Additional charges:
Oil-fired central heating package: euros13/night from November 15th to April 12th and euros9/day from October 4th to November 15th and from April 15th to May 31st: to be added as an option.

The hamlet of Mermande is located halfway between Aizenay and Challans.
From La Roche-sur-Yon, take the D948 towards Noirmoutier/Saint-Nazaire. Pass Aizenay, continue for 12 km and then take the road towards Mermande.
From Saint-Nazaire-Challans, take the road towards La Roche-sur-Yon, leave the village of Saint-Christophe on your left and continue towards La Roche-sur-Yon for 4 km, then take the "Les Mermandes" exit. Please note that the cottage is located in Mermande, not in Grande Mermande, which is nearby.
