Hello, we look forward to welcoming you in our gite which is set in 1 hectare of land, with fruit trees in the gite garden which you may help yourselves to when ripe. We live on site, in a completely seperate house facing the gîte. We have our own private garden, and the gîte has its own dedicated garden and swimming pool which is not shared, except for cleaning the pool and gardening if necessary during your stay. We are set in the countryside surrounded by tall hedges amongst fields and vineyards, there is therefore lots of wildlife including birds, rabbits, deer and insects. We also have free range chickens who roam the garden.

Hello, we are an English family of 4 who live on site. We look forward to welcoming you to our gîte and hope that you have a wonderful and relaxing stay with us.

We are a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk into the centre of the town. There is a small restaurant who does take away pizzas on a Friday and a pizza van on a Thursday evening. 2 bakeries, a butcher, pharmacy, bar/tabac and a convenience shop. Saturday is market day to buy fresh local produce and on Sunday there is an oyster stall. The nearest large supermarket is 10 minutes in the car. There is a swimming pool on site, but there are several beautiful free swimming lakes in the area where you can hire boats or just enjoy the beach and a swim, the closest is in Montguyon which is 10 minutes from us. We are centrally located between Bordeaux, St Emilion and Cognac for some lovely days out.
