Gites La Bigorre is a small complex of holiday cottages with a wonderful heated pool in a rural hamlet, just 30 minutes from the sandy beaches of Royan, St Georges de Didonne and La Palmyre in the beautiful Charente Maritime. We specialise in catering for families and have a superb range of equipment, toys and games from toddlers to teens. We aim to make holidays easier for parents so they can relax and be at home at La Bigorre. That's why so many of our visitors return again and again! Surrounded by vines, sunflowers and corn, there's little traffic here, making it a lovely peaceful and safe place to be. Children are well catered for with our fully enclosed heated pool, garden swings, table tennis, pool table, table football, boules, games and DVD library. Alternatively, you may prefer to walk or cycle along the lanes amongst the vineyards and sunflower fields. We have plenty of bicycles (adult and child size) that you are welcome to borrow at no extra charge. All of our cottages are well furnished and fully equipped with flat screen TV with French and UK free sat television and DVD player as well as lots of other items to make your stay more comfortable.
