Les Coudreaux is a small hamlet deep in the beautiful Normandy countryside that has been lovingly converted into 3 gites with 2 swimming pools, a games room and outdoor activities. It is a wonderful country retreat which perfectly combines the charm and atmosphere of the old with the comfort and convenience of the new. When we first saw Les Coudreaux it was a "romantic ruin" but we both knew instantly it was the place for us and we think you'll feel the same about your holiday here. We are within easy reach of lots of places to visit and things to see and do whilst at the same time providing a peaceful and relaxing haven to come back to. Our guests tell us that they love being here so much they find it difficult to tear themselves away to go and visit places such as French markets, Fougères, Bagnoles de l'Orne, Le Mont St Michel etc.! We bought our wonderful home in 2000 and we used it as a holiday home for 10 years before deciding to move to France permanently in 2010. We fell head over heels in love with the area, the scenery, the people, the food, the lifestyle and we haven't regretted our decision for a single second. We love what we do! Simon's background is in IT and telecommunications - he's an engineer by trade and can turn his hand to anything! Lynne's background is in HR so naturally, she has a real affinity with people. She also teaches English to French business people. We've worked hard to renovate our beautiful gîtes. We have maintained the existing features whilst at the same time creating a luxury and modern feel. Our aim is for you to have a perfect holiday and to relax from the moment you get here. We'll be waiting to welcome you with a glass of something chilled and we are delighted to offer you a welcome basket with some of the basics to get you going. We live on site so are available if you need us.
