Catherine and Jean-François inherited this house, built in the early seventies. In order to manage and maintain it well, they both created an SCI of which Catherine is the manager and Jean-François the co-manager. Catherine, passionate about genealogy, is a decorator and has furnished this house with taste, anxious to see it perpetuate the family soul in a successful marriage between the old and the modern. Some of the furniture gathered here has a real story and has a lot to tell. Jean-François, fond of early music and lute player, spent many years drawing and directing films, working in the advertising, cultural and scientific fields. He has wonderful memories in this house that saw him grow up, and in which his children and his wife spent and still have great moments. Cala Rossa has welcomed several generations of the families of Catherine and Jean-François, and parents, children and even small children have all fallen in love with this little corner of paradise, unspoiled, whose beaches have remained protected and identical for several decades.
We are renting our house, with the aim of keeping and maintaining it as well as possible. But as the "Zen masters" say without a "profit spirit", because we never thought that our family home would become a "livelihood". For these reasons, our tenants are almost guests, and we are keen to share with them our love for this house and this country. Anxious that they be seduced, happy and have the best memories of their stay here, we will, with our partner on site, take great care for them, as if they were family.
The Domaine de Cala Rossa, in order to maintain its notoriety and its charm, is continuously improving. Buildable spaces are regulated, and the park, common areas and beaches are regularly maintained. With its magnificent estate and private beaches, you want to settle down and enjoy your stay serenely. However for lovers of adventures and visits, Cala Rossa is 18 km from the forest of L'Ospédale and the famous GR20 trails, and 30 km from Bonifacio, "the rudder" of Corsica. In a few km you will be within reach of unforgettable small villages, Neolithic sites and the Coscione plateau, a vast unspoiled area in the mountains, populated by herds of sheep, horses, wild pigs roaming free and hiking trails. All possibilities for sports enthusiasts: tennis reserved at the Domaine, several diving centers nearby, equestrian clubs in the immediate vicinity, possibility of boat, 4X4 rental ... and small restaurants by the sea.
