A house of charm and character: In 2018, we fell in love with the former sub-prefecture of the Tarn, in the historic heart of Lavaur, and decided to breathe new life into it through a high-end accommodation and restaurant project.
We restored and embellished the house to offer 6 elegant and spacious rooms, in a restful and pleasant setting in the heart of the town
This work was carried out with the financial support of the Occitanie region.
In the heart of Lavaur, in the Pays de Cocagne region, we open the doors of our guest house, a beautiful 19th-century residence.
This private mansion was built in 1830 by Guillaume Daguilhon Pujol, then sub-prefect, to house the sub-prefecture, which remained there until the 1920s.
The house is set in an enclosed garden where a superb cedar tree, over 400 years old, reigns supreme. You can relax in the shade, have breakfast by the pool or read a book in the coolness of our patios, in complete privacy.
Forget the car! The old town and shops are all within walking distance, including the famous Saturday morning market.
What's more, the guest house is ideally located at equal distance from Albi, Toulouse and Castres. We're less than 45 minutes by car or train from these major sites in the Occitanie region. We're also just 1 hour from the medieval city of Carcassonne, a must-see when visiting the region.
Vacances et handicap : Our house has been awarded the Tourisme et handicap label.
We are committed to enabling people with reduced mobility to stay in a charming house with their carers. We have 2 bedrooms with kitchenettes for disabled guests.
