Doug and I have been welcoming guests to our gîte since 2005. Doug a former engineer and I was a Special needs Coordinator. We accept 2 dogs up to 25kgs and Cats. We can even offer a horse B&B. We enjoy meeting people from all over Europe. We love discovering the excellent wines and foods of the Loire Valley. The list is very long. Our daughter competes in showjumping and she had just started a pony breeding programme. Our 13 horses and ponies together with our 2 dogs and 5 cats keep us all very busy

We are in a rural setting. You will need a car. Surrounded by fields of sunflowers and maize. There are many green lanes where you can take a walk, observe the local wildlife. We have boar, badger, deer, hares, rabbits and foxes. All of which occasionally visit the garden. The garden is peaceful, full of bird life. We also benefit from a dark sky where stargazing is exceptional. Chill by the heated pool or explore the local area. Ask us for the best local restaurants and auberge's to eat in. Nearby town of Loches has one of the best markets to visit Wednesdays and Saturdays Our main town is Chatillon sur Indre just 7 kms from the gite. There is an excellent auberge in our nearest Village, St Flovier. Just one of our favourite places to eat lunch.
