We moved to France in July 2018 and bought this beautiful campsite. Since then we have built 4 glamping pods and a 2 bedroomed cabin and the 3 bedroomed apartment. Our aim is to provide beautiful surroundings, clean facilities and a peaceful haven for all our holidaymakers. We enjoy meeting new people and are still trying very hard to learn the language.
Saint Coulitz is a quiet village with a pretty little church and Mairie, tucked within a loop of the River Aulne. A kilometre away is the flower town of Chateaulin where you will find restaurants, bars, bakeries, supermarkets and much more. It holds a delightful market every Thursday morning, selling locally produced products.
During the Summer season there are numerous fetes and festivals including the annual Fireman's Ball, held in the town centre, musical events and cycle races are a regular attraction. The Tour de France passes through every couple of years.
Set within the National Park, the area is perfect for woodland rambles or heath covered treks across the Montes d'Arrée, where you can take in breath-taking views down to the coast.
20 minutes in the car will take you to the beautiful bay which runs from the fishing port of Dourarnenez, to the tip of the Crozon peninsular, with long sandy beaches, ideal for family days out, surfing, sand kayaking, exploring rocky coves and stunning clifftop walks.
Pretty cobbled villages, gothic city centres and old-fashioned fishing ports are all under an hours drive from here.
Located at the end of the Nantes-Brest canal path, it is an ideal base for cyclists and ramblers.
