Born and raised in Burgundy, I have also travelled a lot and lived abroad. I never thought I would come back to my birthplace but it is so nice that I finally made it my forever home. I live in the house with my dog, Poppy, and rent it out when I am away, so you will enjoy a very well-equipped house. The area is so scenic and authentic and lively! Cluny, Charolles, Paray-le Monial are the main towns nearby. Sights like Suin, Solutré, the Morvan, the Maconnais or Chalonnais vineyards, Tournus, Brancion, Palinges, the Pont Canal in Digoin.... Autun and Chalon sur Saone are 45 minutes away, Beaune is an hour away by car, Paris 2 hours if you take the TGV train from Le Creusot, Lyon is over an hour's drive. Restaurants are plentiful, some famous, others more simple but great. Festivals of all sorts, Antiques shows, and of course great, scenic walks or hikes or outstanding. bike routes.
