I have created these 2 gites and 4 rooms to offer you an optimal resource. It is with pleasure that I welcome you with my dogs Twiggy and Iris in this haven of harmony, calm and beauty. I fell in love with this vast space and I wanted to honour the work of these men who spent their lives extracting and transporting the building stones that make the charm of Burgundy's houses. The name given to these four houses represents this intention to restore the blazon of the quarrymen: the Dovecote, the Foreman's house, the Master Quarryman's house and the Compagnons' house. I will therefore be delighted to tell you the story of this estate and to give you a guided tour of the quarry, its history and my gratitude for these men who make the word "Courage" an emblem. The Domaine des Carriers is not a hotel. We are a bed and breakfast establishment and claim our private status. Here, the horizons are breathtaking. Nièvre landscapes offer a mosaic of colours, tinted by softness, splendour and riches. Everything is here, from wild and wooded valleys to ponds and lakes, through stone and granite facades. In this hiden space, the nature takes back there rights and paints us sumptuous pictures, mixed between brooks and meadows. You will also be able to detect wonderfull history, build around traditions and savoir-faire.
