In winter, you savor the charm of this Provençal Mas, completely renovated while retaining period materials, its large living room with panoramic views of the surrounding nature, its fireplace, its library, its board games, which offers you a comfort in complete conviviality. We offer a table d'hôtes some evenings a week, on request 48 hours in advance. Our guest house, Le Mas de la Sorgue, is situated in leThor, a small village in the heart of Provence in the Vaucluse region, just a few kilometres from l'Isle sur la Sorgue (6 km). It is ideally situated between Avignon (20 minutes), the most beautiful villages of the Luberon, Gordes (24 km) and the Alpilles de Haute Provence, St Remy de Provence (30km) and Mont Ventoux (40km)... you will have plenty of time to visit, experience and enjoy this region, which is rich in discoveries. Avignon, Arles, Aix-en-Provence, l'Isle sur la Sorgue, a charming little town renowned for its antique dealers, are just some of the many cultural discoveries and festivals on offer. We'll guide you to the most beautiful villages in the Luberon: Gordes, Ménerbes, Oppède-le-Vieux, Roussillon, Lourmarin, Saignon... To the authentic villages of Mont-Ventoux and the wine route: Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Beaumes-de- Venise, Chateauneuf du Pape... As well as the magnificent villages close to home, with their winegrowers and producers in the Sorgues region. All these "nature and culture" visits can be made by car, but also by electric bike or bicycle for the more sporty ones, towards the mythical Mont Ventoux! As for good restaurants in the area, we'll be happy to guide you according to your tastes, so you'll have plenty to choose from!
