Le Petit Fleur is an authentic granite worker’s cottage sitting adjacent to my longere. It can potentially accommodate 4 adults. (2 couples) & 2 children. It has been sympathetically restored retaining the granite stone and original beams …including a large living room with new wood burner and a double sofa bed , the kitchen and bathroom have been renovated for 2023 …a large bedroom with king bed and an extra mezzanine level above the main bedroom with single mattresses on the floor and accessible by stair ladder suitable for children age 4 +or young / small adults… We have super fast WiFi… There is a sunny courtyard with BBQ and patio furniture for enjoying good weather….this is only enclosed on three sides so dogs with a wanderlust will need to be supervised. Guests are welcome to relax in my private garden next door to the gîte but unfortunately i cannot allow guests to bring their own dogs into our garden because we have our own animals. Well behaved dogs are welcome in the gîte…however as we have dogs,cats and chickens we ask that dogs are kept on a lead immediately outside the gîte . We have protected bats in the roof lining and although you may occasionally hear them scratching they cannot enter the gîte proper…if you are lucky you may see them flying around outside at dusk. In the spring and summer you may hear birds raising their young in the roof space…they are gone by late summer..

I have lived in France for six years and have enjoyed hosting guests here for four years. (The Normandy longere was brought with the express idea of sharing with guests) I am a semi retired nurse, my passion is my garden and animals, you can find me working in the garden on any dry day! I enjoy meeting our guests and learning about their different life styles, and I can say truthfully that each guest has been lovely. It’s nice to be able to share what i have learned about this beautiful part of Normandy. Thé gîte is well situated just outside Saint Michel De Montjoie…An authentic Granite mining village with a Granite museum and a sculpture garden. Our South Normandy location is perfect for all Normandy attractions including the war memorials, beaches, Mont Saint Michel, Granville, Domfront, and walking in the glorious countryside Thé gîte is also situated on the pilgrim route from Paris to Mont Saint Michel De Montjoie. Unless you are walking the pilgrims way (GR22) from Paris to Mont Saint Michel , you will need a car here.
