## The space ✨ The accommodation: PLEASE NOTE: A FEW DETAILS ABOUT THE ACCOMMODATION: - MEZZANINE CEILING HEIGHT: 1.70M - THE STAIRCASE IS STEEP - SMALL BATHROOM AND SMALL SINK - THE BUILDING'S TRASH CAN IS LOCATED NEAR THE FRONT DOOR ✔ A living room with exposed stone walls, a small sofa, coffee table, and a TV ✔ A kitchenette equipped with a microwave, Nespresso coffee maker, a small refrigerator, hotplates, a kettle, a toaster, dishes, and kitchen utensils; a folding table with two chairs. ✔ A mezzanine with a sleeping area including a mattress (140cm x 190cm) and storage space for clothes Mezzanine ceiling height: 1.70M The staircase is steep. ✔ A small shower room separated by a sliding door, with a small sink and toilet. - The apartment is entered through the building's interior courtyard. There are two locked doors (one wooden door and one French window). Please note there is a step to go down to enter the apartment. Linge et Produits de Base Upon your arrival, the apartment will be stocked with the following: Bedding: The bed will be made up based on the number of guests listed in the reservation. Towels: 1 towel per person per stay (if you need more, please bring your own). Kitchen: 1 dish towel, 1 bath mat. Basic Products: 3 toilet paper rolls 1 shower gel 1 dishwashing liquid & 1 sponge Coffee capsules & tea bags provided upon arrival Some cleaning products Note: No oil, salt, pepper, or paper towels are provided. No laundry detergent. ## Guest access Full access to the apartment. ## Guest interaction David and his team manage the apartment. ## Other things to note We do our best to ensure the safety of our guests following the Airbnb cleaning protocol, sanitizing frequently touched surfaces (light switches, door handles, furniture knobs, remote controls, etc.) before your arrival. Please Note: Only one set of keys is provided to guests for their stay. Additional keys cannot be provided.

## The neighborhood Located in the heart of the city, with classic Lyonnais buildings, the famous Place des Jacobins, Place Bellecour, and my favorite spot in the summer, the Quais de Saône. It's a peaceful area with a view of the Medieval Old Lyon neighborhood and the Basilica of Fourvière. My favorite places: There are so many! Don’t hesitate to contact me for recommendations based on your interests. Good bakeries/desserts: Le Pain des Jacobins (delicious and right next door) Boulangerie du Palais (famous for praline desserts) Pralus (the famous praline brioche, highly recommended!) Typical restaurants and bars: La Brasserie Georges (an institution, known for its sauerkraut and craft beers) Café du Rhône (traditional local cuisine and bar, listed) La Madone (apéro platters, DJ events) Abel (for the famous Lyonnaise quenelle, reservation recommended) L'Ourson qui boit (excellent, also worth booking) Les Muses de l'Opéra (for drinks with a beautiful view of Lyon) La Cuisine (traditional cuisine and bar) La Cave des Voyageurs (Vieux Lyon: wine tasting, small producers, great aperitif platters) Les Péniches along the Rhône (great for drinks with a terrace) For something more exotic: Café Lisboa (Portuguese tapas) La Rivière Kwai (Thai cuisine) Places to go out: La Maison Mère L'Ambassade ## Getting around The apartment is well connected by metro, bus, bike, and is just 7 minutes on foot from Place Bellecour. From Gare Part-Dieu to the apartment: Take metro line B towards Charpennes, get off at Charpennes, then switch to metro line A towards Perrache and get off at Ampère-Victor Hugo. The apartment is 2 minutes on foot. From Saint-Exupéry Airport to the apartment: Take the Rhône Express towards Part-Dieu station and get off at Vaulx-en-Velin la Soie. Then take metro line A towards Perrache and get off at Ampère-Victor Hugo. The apartment is 1 minute on foot.
