With a glimpse of the Mediterranean Sea from the second floor bedroom window, Le Pouffre is a 19th-century Italian fishermen's house, ideal for 4 people and 1 child or 1 baby.
Located in the picturesque district of artists overlooking the port of Sète, the house is just a 5-minute walk from the town centre and restaurants, and a 15-minute walk to the first beaches.
You will find everything you need in the house to kick-start your holiday and to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Sheets, towels, tea towels, etc. are provided. We have free Wifi and air conditioning in every room. There are two standard-sized double beds of 140x190 cm.
You will find the house clean when you arrive. There is no cleaning service, but cleaning supplies are provided. We would be grateful if you could leave the house clean and tidy upon your departure although I don't expect you to do a deep clean :)
We also rent a modern and bright apartment, Le Piade, with a beautiful view of Mont Saint Clair de Sète, just a 10-minute walk from the train station and the town centre.
I’m originally from Scotland and have been living in France since 1997. I met my husband Mehdi when I came to work in Sète, and we were married here in 2000. Since then, we have made this beautiful region our home.
As enthusiastic travelers ourselves, we love meeting new people and are always happy to have a friendly chat!
I’ll be here to warmly welcome you upon arrival, show you where to park, and share my personal recommendations for restaurants and local sights to make the most of your stay in Sète.
We truly look forward to welcoming you to Le Pouffre.
Our house is in the heart of the picturesque upper district of Sète. Named “Little Naples” after the fishermen who emigrated there from the Amalfi Coast, the area boasts the atmosphere of southern Italy. It is the oldest district of Sète where the jousters gather. It has become an artist’s haunt with intimate workshops scattered throughout.
When you arrive, you can stop in front of the house to unload your luggage. You can park in the streets around the house: Grande Rue Haute, rue Villaret Joyeuse, Chemin du Cimetière Marin… and there are two free outdoor car parks very close by at Place de l'Hospitalet and the Paul Valéry Museum. I will be there to meet you and show you where you can park.
If you come by train, I can send you the quickest directions to the house.
