Behind Les Pénates Bordelaises are Maria Luisa, a concert pianist and orchestra conductor, and Sylvain, an entrepreneur passionate about travel. They designed this guesthouse as a peaceful retreat, halfway between a boutique hotel and a private home. Every detail has been carefully considered: 5★ bedding, soft ambiance, L’Occitane toiletries, air conditioning, homemade breakfast, and self check-in with a secure code. Your hosts are always happy to share their favorite local spots — markets, the artisan cheese shop, the fine-dining restaurant Ro’cha, the award-winning pastry shop Mi Cielo, or the wine bar POC La Cave. Please note: there is no daily hotel-style service; light housekeeping is done every three days to ensure privacy and calm. Everything here is designed to make you feel truly at home.

Les Pénates Bordelaises is an elegant guesthouse located in a quiet residential area of Bordeaux, just a short walk from Parc Bordelais. Each room offers premium comfort with 5★ bedding, air conditioning, soundproof triple glazing, a modern bathroom, and a smart TV. Guests enjoy free access to the lounge, the landscaped garden, and the outdoor pool, heated from mid-May to late September (weather permitting). Outside this period, the water may be too cool for swimming; the temperature can be shared 48 hours before arrival upon request. Breakfast is served from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. with fresh local products. Housekeeping, towels, and toiletries are refreshed every three days. Access is self check-in via a secure code, ideal for late arrivals. A place designed for rest and serenity — combining elegance, comfort, and privacy.
