We’re a small, family-run company specialising in isolated or rural properties – we have a selection in Wales as well as a Chalet in France. We fell in love with exciting designs way back in the early 2000s when we appeared on Grand Designs with our beautiful  Curved House . Since then we have added  barns ,  beach houses ,  tree tents  (including a  Conker  which appeared on George Clarke’s  Amazing Spaces ) and Chalet Fnet with the new amazing The Kanda-Sphere, our brand new  Mirror Conker  to our collection.  Please do have a look on the internet and get in touch if you’d like information about any of them.

The capsule is located 300m from the car park in the heart of a snowy private forest. Our beautiful Chalet F'net is nearby, as is our concierge, who may be able to provide meals for you with advanced notice - but why not take advantage of our grilling and fondue facilities on the wooden terrace which surrounds the Kandasphere. On the deck there is a palette sofa with cushions you can put out to stay comfy. Inside the capsule, there is a double futon which turns into a sofa during the day, as well as plates, cutlery, linen, a selection of blankets. There is electric lighting in the conker itself as well as a gorgeous, handcrafted globe stove for light and warmth. Because the pod is served with electricity, you can charge phones, torches etc while you stay. There are two toilets - one at the car park which is a 15 minute walk from the pod, and another which we have built especially, and is a five minute walk up the slope from the pod! Please be aware that there is not presently any substantial lighting around the conker or on the path, so a good head torch is essential - and a hand torch won't hurt either! Please note that there is running water (subject to mountain conditions) at the pod, giving you water available to drink and wash, as well as a bucket shower and a barrel hot tub - please speak to our concierge if you would like to use these so they can make arrangements. Guest access Access to the Kanda-sphere is on foot from the Les Toailles car park. It's about 300m (15 mins walk) up a steepish slope. You don't need special equipment to get there, but it helps to be in good shape - and perhaps bring a pair of walking poles. At the moment there is a rough, alpine track to the pod from the car park - it suits people who enjoy scrambling around in the forest and who have good walking shoes! You will need a good head torch for the path in the dark as there is no substantial lighting as of yet.

- The Kanda-sphere sits in a private and romantic setting in 2 hectares of woodlands at the foot of the Les Houches ski resort - Endless hiking opportunities from the door up to the Prarion - spectacular views over Mont Blanc and the Dents du Midi, as well as the whole Chamonix valley to explore. - We have fantastic fun access to the pistes of Les Houches with a short ride up hill and ski back home in the right conditions. - There is a great choice of ski resorts minutes away (St Gervais ski lifts are a short drive, Chamonix is about 25 minutes). - You can ski to the medieval village of Megeve from Saint Gervais. - there is a world-class thermal spa and many excellent restaurants found in St Gervais-les-Bains and Megeve. - St Gervais village is only 50 minutes from Geneva airport. - The Mont Blanc Tunnel and access to Italy are only half an hour's drive away. -Experience skiing the unforgettable Vallee Blanche - scenic off-piste skiing.
