Ideally located in the heart of the countryside, not far from a river, just 15 km from the sea, our guest house offers 5 bedrooms, each with its private bathroom. A lounge with library and a kitchenette are at your disposal with microwave and hotplate (limited access during the pandemic period). But you can choose to share our table d'hôtes based on regional products and world cuisine (contact us for conditions). Our animal friends are welcome for stays reserved in the Oasis room only. The place known as Cosquéric is a very quiet area, in the countryside, set back from the road and noise pollution. In the surroundings, you will find a small forest, crossed by a river harboring trout. Sometimes you may come across a deer or a hare at the corner of a walk or ... on the land adjoining the garden. It was in the town of Elliant, 1.5 km from the house, that René Laennec, originally from Quimper, discovered the principle of the stethoscope. Also worth seeing is the church bell tower, listed as a Historic Monument, which reaches a height of 50m (one of the highest in Cornwall).
