Suits business travellers as well as holidaymaking couples, families. Good transport links. Coming from Paris either take purple RER line E from Saint Lazare - or Magenta if coming off Eurostar - and get off at Les Boullereaux Champigny. We are a 5 minutes walk away. Alternatively, coming from the Opera or Chatelet/River Seine, take Red red line A from Chatelet les Halles or Auber, then get the E at Val de Fontenay. If you're visiting Vincennes, which has a lovely forest and Chateau to visit, you can get speedy metro line 1 to Vincennes. Then, to get to the house, bus 114 or 210 from the forest (Porte Jaune) will get you to Nogent le Perreux station. Then it's 1 stop/3 mins on the RER E. We have an assortment of local buses too - including one right opposite the house (520). You can also get bus 106 late at night from Joinville RER (line A) - get off at Fourchette de Bry (8 stops/15 mins about 250m from the house)

We are committed to providing a comfortable, safe and value for money stay on the edge of the city beyond which lies the "real" France. 2025 UPDATE: Do please be aware - if you are flying home from Beauvais airport, you need to give yourself plenty of time. The bus from central Paris takes a good two hours and you need to factor in the time to get into Paris first. If your return flight is earlier than mid-morning you may wish to consider spending your last night in France nearer to Beauvais itself. We are delighted to have your custom, but please factor in the distance to the airport.

Walk, bike, canoe, paddle, row your way round what really constitutes where the real France starts - away from the stresses and noise of the big city. And when that's what you want - head straight back in. From July to mid-October you can take a fun boat trip (free with the Navigo transport card) from the riverside close to the house either west to Joinville (50 minutes and RER A connection) or east to Neuilly sur Marne (20 minutes, also RER A connection). A Bateau Mouche alternative!
