Not suitable for children under 5 or for people with difficulty with stairs. 40 mins to Les Gorges du Verdon, 40 mins drive to les lacs Saint-Croix, 1 hr 20 to Saint-Tropez. This suite has two levels. Downstairs is a large king size bed and a work desk & storage for cloth,Up stairs is a sitting room and a mezzanine overlooking the terrace and the view. There is a completely private terrace with stunning 180 degree view of the village and the surrounding hills. On a third level is a large bathroom with two sinks, a double bath and a shower with a separate toilet. The property is on the village square where you can find all the cafe& restaurant. Tourtour is a car free zone. A border Collie & a European tiger ( a small cat) is living on the property but they will be kept away from the area where guests are. It is 40 mins to the famous lavender fields and 1 hour to the beaches of Saint Maxim and Sait Tropez. The Var is one of the greenest département in France making it a haven for nature lovers. We have roughly 390 inhabitants only, though small but very international. Tourtour is famous for its stunning natural beauty, old stone houses, natural drinkable mountain water fountains, independent art and jewellery galleries, Oliver oil moulin, the vibrant summer music concerts, and charming cafe & restaurants on the village plaza.
