Set in an elevated position overlooking the town of Confolens with superb views from each bedroom and the terrace. Located in a calm and tranquil area, yet only 2-3 minute walk through the medieval streets to the market square and all amenities-shops, restaurants and bars.
The adjacent bedrooms (2-Gold Room, maximum 2 people) and (3-Grey room, maximum 2 people) share a shower room and separate toilet, this is immediately next to the rooms on the first floor of the house. The double or twin ensuite room, (4-Lavender room, maximum 2 people) is new from 2024 and is situated on the 2nd floor of the house and is entirely private.
Please note the house is accessed by stairs to the ground floor of the property from street level.

The accommodation is situated next to the Chateau du Fort, the oldest building in Confolens, also known as Le Donjon. It is listed as a place of historic interest and is highlighted on the walking trail through Confolens (itinerary and map of the town available in the accommodation).
The Donjon is now privately owned and entry is not available to the general public. However; 'Quelle Belle Vue' guests may enjoy exclusive access to view the remaining room of the Donjon by arrangement.
