this property is located in an old building with scribbling found on the wall as far back as 1776. it is said that Napoleons army has stayed here at one time. we are currently hosting 2 units. one is a charming studio that is similar to a hotel room with no kitchen but there is a microwave, tv and coffee maker. the other is a one bedroom with a small kitchen, dining area and view of the castle from the bedroom and living room windows. both units have walk in showers and have been updated and keep fresh for your comfort. we have given out time and love in hope that travelers will appreciate the home as much as we do

The center of the lower town of Carcassonne is only a 15-minute walk from the Castle and it offers a wide range of activities of all kinds. not far from town center is Lé Cité Médiévale which opens up to you and reveals its secrets to you. Located on the right bank of the Aude, the Cité, a medieval village still inhabited, has 52 towers and 2 concentric enclosures which total 3km of ramparts. and lets not forget Canal Midi. in the XVIIth century to connect the Atlantic to the Mediterranean, the Canal du Midi formerly used for the transport of goods and people, is today frequented by many boaters and tourists and crosses the heart of the city of Carcassonne. Since 1996, the Canal du Midi has been classified in the list of world heritage by UNESCO
