This superbly located 2 bed apartment is a 3 minute garden stroll from the beach and Collioure town. Set in well manicured grounds, with two swimming pools (open June to September). The building nestles in the shadow of the windmill and beneath vine terraced hills. The apartment is on the second floor (no lift). It has 2 balconies, one overlooking the tennis court and vineyards whilst the other opens onto the hillside with attractive mediterranean plants. There is a spacious lounge and well equipped kitchen.The apartment has two bedrooms. Each has two single beds designed to transform into 1 king sized if required. There is a bathroom with shower and a separate WC. Parking in high season is extremely expensive and difficult to find in Collioure but this apartment comes with a huge, barrier controlled car park. The apartment is a wonderful base for enjoying the beach, sea, restaurants, bars and local walks.
We have been holidaying in the south of France for years and we absolutely love it! We have visited lots of different places in France but Collioure is our absolute favourite. It has such a fantastic atmosphere with historic buildings, beautiful beaches, lots of cool bars and restaurants. Our dream came true when we finally bought our apartment here. We love to sharing it with friends and family. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Collioure is known as the 'Jewel of the Vermeille' coast. A medieval harbour town with magical light that has inspired artists (including Matisse and Picasso) for generations. Today it thrives as an artist's community and adorable coastal town with five beaches, each with its own unique character. The enchanting winding streets are closed to vehicles allowing for leisurely walks past numerous alleyways, homes and gorgeous shops. There are fantastic bars, cafes and first class restaurants just moments from the apartment. The lively outdoor market is held on Wednesday and Sunday from 9am to noon and there is a small supermarket in the town. Music and arts events are ever present in this bustling seaside haven. Collioure offers something for everyone; it's no surprise that couples and families return year after year.
