It is a five-bedroom, five-bathroom chalet with accommodation across three floors. The OVO Network team’s opinion - We think it has one of the best locations in the area - by the ice rink and Beauregard Telecabin, with the village centre just 200m away and yet enjoying its own secluded garden edged by mountain streams. It's perfect for skiers and non-skiers. After a day in the mountains, it's great to return to the chalet and relax in the sauna and hot tub before enjoying a pre-dinner apero on the terrace, underneath the stars. The only intrusion you may have is from the telecabine passing overhead during the day, the owners have landscaped the garden to ensure privacy as much as possible, and the hot tub is on a sheltered terrace on the opposite side of the chalet. The garden at Chalet Riparian is being landscaped to provide terraced areas with built-in benches, and lighting will make it a delight in the evenings. Parents of young children will need to supervise them around the streams, but in the summer they will be a great place to cool off - one even has a small beach area in the forest. The chalet has five shower rooms, three of them en suite, and although there are no baths, the sauna and hot tub make great places to relax and soothe any aching muscles. It's a great location for non-skiers too, with the neighbouring ice-skating rink and a cinema in La Clusaz, as well as sledging, snow-shoe walking, dog-sledding and sleigh rides. If you’re looking for the ultimate in relaxation, let your cares float away in the village’s heated outdoor pool, while the snow falls gently around you. There's just as much going on in the summer, and when you stay at Chalet Riparian, you won’t need a car to enjoy everything the mountains have to offer. Hike into the Col des Aravis, or let the telecabine ferry you and your bike to the top, so you can come back down at your own pace. Other activities available in the area include horse-riding, climbing, via ferrata and paragliding. The mountains around La Clusaz are criss-crossed with tracks and paths, so there is always somewhere new to discover. The beautiful lakeside town of Annecy is just 30 minutes away by car, and is a great destination for a day out. The lake is said to be the cleanest in Europe and in the summer it’s a lovely place for water sports, cycling, swimming or you can just hire a boat and explore the lakeside beaches. If you just want to relax, why not soak up the sun on the terrace or balcony, or visit the beautiful swimming pool complex in La Clusaz? Later you can catch up with friends and family over a barbecue in the beautiful garden at Chalet Riparian, as the sun sets behind the mountains.
