Apartment One is very sunny and the perfect place to relax and unwind for couples and small families. You'll find everything you need for a perfect self-catered stay: the kitchen has a fridge/freezer, hob, oven, kettle and microwave. There is one bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe, small writing desk and balcony that catches the morning sun. There is a double sofa-bed in the sitting room/dining/kitchen area suitable for one or two children or one adult. There is one bathroom, which has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower. Linen and towels are all included to make your stay more comfortable. The village of La Brigue is a jewel. Italian before the Second World War, residents chose that it become French in a plebiscite in 1947; street names and local conversations are a mixture of both languages. There are mountain walks of various difficulties in all directions. La Brigue lies right on the edge of France's largest national park, the beautiful Mercantour with its stunning Vallee des Merveilles. Visit wonderful local villages such as Saorge, a stunning 'village perchee', and ancient churches and monasteries, or the extraordinary 'forts' on the mountain ridge above the valley. House Rules: - Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10am. - Limited parking is available in Place de Nice but ample parking is within 5 minutes' walk. - Small dogs are allowed!
