My name is Kiran, I have been following cycling since becoming hooked by the 1988 Tour de France. I was brought up in Leeds and moved to London where I worked in the bike industry for a few years. My partner Sabina and I enjoy exploring France and we discovered the Ariège after visiting a family member who lived here for many years. We are lucky enough to have called it home since 2018.  We love the area, have friendly neighbours and look forward to welcoming people to stay with us and experiencing the beauty of our surroundings.  We speak English and are working to improve our French!

We are located in La Bastide de Serou, a delightful medieval village in a convenient location, close to local amenities such as a mini supermarket, newsagent, petrol station, library, bakeries, restaurants, bars and a bustling market every Thursday. For those seeking alternative leisure facilities: golf, horse riding, tennis, fishing and water sports are some of the activities available within the village or nearby.   The larger towns of Foix and St Girons are only a short drive away. The Ariège is rich in prehistoric caves and historic towns and contains numerous cultural and natural points of interest.  It also has countless trails and paths to entice the casual explorer and test the serious hiker. From great rivers to vast mountains the incredible natural beauty of this special area will stay with you.
