Located in a dead end, in the historic heart of Talmont Saint Hilaire, a few steps from the medieval castle of Richard Coeur de Lion, the lake with games for children, shops, you can park your vehicle free of charge. A welcome present (reserved for stays of at least one week) will allow you to discover the typical products of the region and to have your breakfasts. Numerous activities await you including entertainment, workshops, shows and guided tours of the Castle, accessible on foot from the house, oyster tastings directly at the producers in the oyster farming village of the Port de la Guittière, the beautiful Veillon beach with free shuttles from the Talmont Centre, a 5-minute walk from the house, all summer long. Particularly well-preserved dinosaur footprints will amaze both young and old.

The port of Bourgenay, very close to the beach with its restaurants where you can book boat cruises and nautical activities, including a day of fishing, surfing, kitesurfing, jet-skiing,... You can also go to the Sables d'Olonne and enjoy the summer activities, visit the port, the starting point of the legendary Vendée Globe race. Regular bus lines within a 5-minute walk of the house will make the journey easy. Walks in Kayac, by canoe or by paddle, from the parking lot of the Gâtines, next to the water, also reachable 5 minutes walk from the house will allow you to go to the coast. If you want to live an unforgettable day by returning to medieval times with Knights, duels in the trees, majestic birds... then you only have to go to the Parc du Puy du Fou located only 1 h 15 from the house. The park is recognized worldwide for the quality of its activities in 2012 and 2014.
