1 Stonewall Cottages, a ground-floor apartment, consists of a kitchen with an electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, washing machine, clothing rail, kettle, toaster, and coffee maker, and a sitting room with a TV. The bedroom is a double, serviced by a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed front patio with furniture and off-road parking for one car, as well as more available parking in the nearby layby. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Guests can find a shop in 0.1 miles, and within 0.3 miles, a pub. 1 Stonewall Cottages offers a splendid retreat, whatever time of year. Note: There is one step up into the apartment. Note: No children allowed, babes in arms only. Please note: there is no wifi available until the 19th of November, but there is a strong mobile signal.

Kirdford is a charmingly quintessential village resting between the quaint towns of Wisborough Green and Petworth. Renowned for its historic architecture and vibrant community, Kirdford offers an array of attractions, including scenic walking trails, an award-winning village shop stocked with fresh, locally-sourced produce, and the acclaimed gastropub, The Half Moon, owned by Jodie Kidd. Dining options include this idyllic pub, where visitors can enjoy classic British fare, while essentials can be conveniently stocked up at the farm shop for fresh produce. There is also The Foresters Arms for other available pubs. The train station in Billingshurst or a few miles further to Haslemere will give you access to all the London Stations. But if you don’t drive, the Compass Travel bus service gives you access to the thriving towns further afield including Horsham and Worthing. Nearby, the bustling market town of Petworth, renowned for its eclectic range of antique shops and monthly farmers market, has further attractions to choose from. Lace up your hiking boots and explore the South Downs National Park, with an abundance of scenic walking trails, cycling routes, and wildlife spotting amidst the breathtaking Sussex countryside. Or why not explore the stunning Petworth House and Park or St. Mary’s Church. For a bit of adventure, head to the nearby River Rother and canoe or kayak the calm waters.
