Pontygwaith Farm dates back to the 16th century and has historic records of Cromwells roundheads visiting here to destroy an iron smelting operation.
The farm is set in a 40 acre estate surrounded by mountains, river and a lake. There are only three other properties nearby so it a semi rural setting.
Guest accommodation comprises 5 1 bedroom stables with a bathroom, kitchen and individual private garden. The stables are attached to the main farm house so there's always someone around to answer guest questions.
There's lots to do and things to see nearby including Bike Park Wales, Zip World and the Brecon Beacons. We're only 30mins from Cardiff where there are many fine dining eateries.
We're John and Thora and come from welsh, irish and Cypriot heritage. We really enjoy meeting our guests and sometimes when time permits take our guests to meet our hundreds of chickens.
We're responsive to guests requests but respect guest privacy.
