19 Upper Linney is a very popular delightful little townhouse that makes an ideal base for one or two people to enjoy a break in lovely Ludlow. It's close to town, just a short walk up past St Laurence's church coming out by the Church Inn, by the famous Buttercross, Turn right for the market square and Castle, or left for the famous Feathers Hotel, or straight ahead into Broad Street leading to the also famous Broad Gate, down to the River Teme and Ludford Bridge. It really couldn't be more convenient for town. There is a lovely walk behind the Castle down to Dinham Bridge and the Bread Walk, and Whitcliffe Common, or turn right and take the road to Priors Halton for a lovely walk through Oakly Park to the Ludlow Food Centre/Farm Shop.
I am married to Roger, a farmer/contractor, and have been running my holiday cottage since 2010. I really enjoy running it, and providing a welcome comfortable space for guests to come and spend time in our lovely town. It gives me a lot of pleasure to read the very complimentary remarks from happy guests that have enjoyed staying at 19 Upper Linney. I try to think of everything that might be needed and tell guests that they only need to bring their clothes and personal items, and shampoo and body wash that they might prefer to the ones that I provide.
Fantastic scenery whereever you go, close to the Welsh Border, the Malverns, Brecon Beacons, Long Mynd, the Wrekin. Great gardens, eg Stocktonbury, Powis Castle. More castles than I can mention, Ludlow of course, Clun, Hopton Castle, Stokesay, Berrington Hall, Croft, Hampton Court, Eastnor, Raglan, Sudeley . Heart of Wales railway line from Craven Arms. Great eateries and tea rooms. Local craft beers, local gins and wines. It's all here!
