Palm Haven is a stylish 2-bedroom Victorian beach house just a mile from Newquay town centre and a 20-min walk (or 4-min drive) to Porth Beach. Built in 1890, the house combines period charm - like mosaic flooring, stained-glass doors, and a cosy open fireplace - with modern comfort, surf-inspired décor, and family-friendly touches. The home is owned by big wave surfer Nick and wife Maddi, and is perfect for couples, friends, families, or remote workers seeking a relaxing coastal break. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, bay window, vanity table and wardrobe. The spacious twin room can sleep two or three. A dedicated workspace with a desk and monitor makes working remotely a breeze. The large, luxurious bathroom is our favourite room - complete with a Victorian-style bath, rain shower, underfloor heating and a heated towel rail. Downstairs, the open-plan living area is warm and inviting with board games, children’s toys and books. The extendable dining table suits bigger groups, and the newly renovated kitchen includes a Sage coffee machine, bean grinder, dishwasher, and washing machine. Outside, relax in a private palm tree garden with lawn, deck chairs and a courtyard dining area. On-street parking is available right outside, and the back gate allows easy beach access. Walk to Porth or Whipsiderry Beach, or explore the shops and eateries of Nansledan. Our favourite local spots include Sabzi, Shiva, and The Farmer’s Arms pub—just a minute’s walk away. A kids’ play park is also just around the corner. Palm Haven offers the ideal blend of Victorian elegance and laid-back surf-town living. Hello! I'm Maddi - I moved down from London to live in Newquay back in 2010. It's a brilliant, vibrant town which I have loved to call home. I became addicted to the surf sea lifestyle and married my surfer husband Nick here back in 2016. We've both worked in the hospitality industry for many years.
