A traditional stone-built, pet-free, terraced cottage with two double bedrooms and fell views, situated between the seaside and the lakes. The house is well equipped with everything to cater for 4 people.The comfortable lounge has patio doors leading to a private enclosed garden. Just a 5-minute walk from the Coast to Coast trail and a short drive to Ennerdale, Buttermere, Whitehaven and the beautiful beaches of St Bees. The quaint little town of Cockermouth is just a 15-minute drive away.

Arlecdon is a small village close to Ennerdale Water and the Fells. There is a small convenience shop nearby. A short walk down the hill following signs to Rowrah Hall brings you to the famous coast-to-coast trail with superb walks toward Saint Bees or east toward Ennerdale. The Ennerdale Brewery is a 10-minute walk down the hill and provides superb Sunday lunches breakfasts and evening meals [booking recommended] as well as a great selection of craft beers brewed on the premises..The Georgian port town of Whitehaven is just 6 miles away, The beautiful beaches and stunning headland walks of St Bees are 8 miles, and the stunning lakes and waterfalls of Ennerdale and Buttermere are 5 and 14 miles respectively. Cockermouth and Wordsworth country is just 9 miles north of the location making it an ideal base for exploring the breathtaking scenery of the northwestern Lake District Free parking is available on the street.
