2 Princes Cottage is a beautiful and secluded home-from-home, situated in picturesque Wembury, South Devon.
Hi, I’m Dominique. I grew up in Berkshire and now live in Devon with my family and pets. We are very excited to offer our beautiful family home for rent, fantastic location where guests can enjoy everything the area has to offer.
This property is well-located to explore South Devon, Dartmoor National Park, and provides a gateway to the neighbouring county of Cornwall. Plymouth, also known as Britain’s Ocean City, is just a short 15-minute drive away and boasts attractions such as the National Marine Aquarium, and is steeped in naval history. Closer to home, Wembury Beach can be accessed via the coast path; perfect for a spot of rock-pooling, and a bite to eat in the seasonal beach café. Wembury Church is also well worth a visit, with views over the Yealm Estuary and Mewstone. The village of Down Thomas has a small shop and a delightful pub (The Muscle Inn), serving locally-sourced produce. Langdon Court, a boutique manor house hotel and 2 AA rosette restaurant, is also just down the road, for those looking to indulge.
