Hi, we're the May's. Lamack Vale House is a much-loved traditional family home that has been in our family for 30 years, and we’ve recently opened it up so others can enjoy it too. It’s a special place for us, full of memories, and we’ve worked hard to make it a welcoming, comfortable space for guests. We are based nearby and are happy to help with anything you might need during your stay.

Just a 10–15 minute scenic stroll or a 2-minute drive from Tenby’s town centre and its award-winning beaches, quaint cafés, historic pubs, and breathtaking coastal walks through national parkland, you’ll be perfectly placed to explore – or simply stay in and relax. Unlike many properties in central Tenby, Lamack Vale House offers ample private parking for 4–5 cars – a rare find in a town where parking can be notoriously tricky. You’ll also benefit from being just outside the lively centre, meaning you’re close to the action but away from the late-night noise. 1. A Day in Tenby: Enjoy the best of what the charming town of Tenby has to offer with a day trip. From its historical spots to stunning beaches, there's plenty to explore and enjoy. Take your time strolling through the cobbled streets, stopping for lunch at one of the many cafes, pubs, or restaurants, before wrapping up the day with a visit to the harbour. 2. Coastal Hike: Take a scenic hike along some of Pembrokeshire's most famous and beautiful coastal paths. From cliff-top views to tranquil coves, there are plenty of places to enjoy the fresh sea air and take in the stunning scenery. Be sure to pack plenty of snacks and water, so you can take your time and enjoy the views. 3. Castle Tour: Spend a day discovering some of Pembrokeshire's stunning castles. From Manorbier to Carew, each castle has its own unique history and architectural features to explore. Make sure to bring a camera so you can take plenty of photos to remember the day. 4. Boat Trip: Take a boat ride out into the waters around Tenby and Pembrokeshire, such as Caldey or Skomer Island, and experience some of the most beautiful landscapes from a unique perspective. Look out for the many species of seabirds, as well as seals and dolphins, which can be seen in the area. 5. Pub Crawl: Take a pub crawl around some of Tenby and Pembrokeshire's oldest pubs, sampling traditional local ales and ciders as you go. Learn about the rich history behind each establishment, and don't forget to try out some of their delicious homemade food! 6. Beach Games: Grab your beach gear and head to one of the many beaches in the area for a day of fun in the sun! From volleyball to frisbee, there are plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. 7. Visit Heatherton World of Adventure or Folly Farm for a fun family day out.
