The second bedroom is en-suite and is also furnished with a king size bed which can be separated into twin beds to offer tailored sleeping arrangements to suit all groups. A bright and well-equipped kitchen offers all the mod cons needed for home cooking but for those looking to eat out during their stay, the many fabulous restaurants and cafes in the area are within easy walking distance from the front door, some of the most popular being Adam Handling’s Ugly Butterfly, Carbis Bay Hotel’s Walter’s on The Beach, and The Beach Club restaurant. 5 Sandy Lane is set just a short stroll downhill to the small train station where you can hop aboard and enjoy one of the most scenic coastal routes to St Ives. If you’d prefer to travel on-foot, St Ives can also be reached a gentle twenty-minute walk along the South West Coast Path. Of course, Carbis Bay Beach is where you’re going to want to spend most of your time as this stunning bay is one of the most sought-after in all of Cornwall. The clean, clear water is ideal for swimming, and the gentle shallows are perfect for families with young children in tow. Fun-fuelled adventure awaits too, with a host of water sports on offer from beach-based companies like The Ocean Sports Centre, so you can SUP, kayak, foil and canoe to your hearts’ content.
