Bos Cres, Cornish for 'house in the middle', is a granite cottage situated on a quiet, side street, seconds from the heart of St Ives Town with its maze of cobbled streets, harbour, and award-winning beaches. Bos Cres offers a well-equipped and comfortable accommodation suited to couples or young families and woofing ones are also welcome as long as they obey the house rules! We also have wireless broadband available for those of you who simply cannot sever the ties with the real world. If you are looking for a glossy, high-end 'boutique' accommodation, perhaps we are not for you. However, if you are looking for a traditional, sympathetically renovated and comfortable cottage in the heart of St Ives, then we look forward to welcoming you. Our fisherman's cottage was built in the mid 1800s, and we try and make it feel like a home from home, a place you can relax after a day at the beach or pottering around the cobbled streets of our pretty seaside town. The ground floor of the cottage has a sitting room and kitchen. The first floor is where both bedrooms and bathroom are. The first bedroom has a double bed, and the second bedroom has two single beds. We accept pets for an additional fee; we ask that they are not let up on the furniture or beds and that the towels provided are not used for pets. Let's talk about parking. We do not have parking at the cottage. We are a few minutes walk from the Station Carpark or a ten to fifteen minute walk from the Island Carpark. The rubbish collection in St Ives, is unfortunately just that – rubbish!  As the streets are so narrow there is no space for an outside bin.  If you are in the cottage for longer than a week we can arrange for the rubbish to be collected.  If you do happen to leave rubbish in the property when you depart, there will be a small charge per bag.  This is what the cleaner charges to remove them to the tip.  I hope you understand.

We are off a side street on Tregenna Hill, right in the middle of town. The train station and car park is a ten minute walk from the cottage and the harbour is only a 4 minute walk.
