Roughwood Cottage is a recently renovated two double bedroom Grade two listed house located in the middle of the beautiful Kent village of Brasted. The house is comfortably furnished with a mixture of antique and contemporary furnishings giving it a light and romantic feel. There are wonderful country walks and footpaths running straight from the back with breathtaking views everywhere you look.

I run a business nearby so I am usually available during the day to help in any way I can.

Because the houses are all so old and beautiful the village is a conservation area and remains unspoiled. Just a few doors along is the White Hart pub which is a famous pub/restaurant where fighter pilots from WWII air field at nearby Biggin Hill used to drink. There is a copy of the black out window boards where 'The Few' signed their names, surrounded by photos from that era. Ruth Ellis, the last woman to be hanged in Britain, is said to have used the pub as well. There is a good village shop across the road and excellent ameneties in the neighbouring village of Westerham and Sevenoaks. Sevenoaks station is 3.1 miles which takes just 24 minutes to Charing Cross and Oxted station, which is 5.1 miles , takes 40 minutes to Victoria Station. Gatwick Airport is 15.2 miles away via M25/A21 junction which is 1 mile west along the A25.
