A quiet, cosy, guest house in the Cornish countryside, about 10 minutes from Bodmin and Wadebridge. The cottage is tucked away, down some quiet woody lanes, but its central location makes it easy to explore the north and south coast. 10 minutes to Eden Project, 20 minutes to the beach. Close to Padstow, Newquay, St Austell, Mevagissey, and Charlestown.
The accommodation includes a double room with TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Next door is a bathroom for your sole use (not ensuite), with bath and overhead shower.
Breakfast is served in the lounge area - you are welcome to use the lounge where you will find a table, wine glasses, games, a map of the area, and a TV with surround sound and Amazon Prime. From Autumn to Spring, we can light the log burner for you.
Guests can enjoy the front garden with outdoor seating - you might see the occasional horse go by.
We recommend you drop off luggage first and then park in the parking area around the back. Access to the accommodation is via the front door, a short walk up the lane.
Please note, we do not have extra facilities for children. The accommodation and its layout is best suited to adults.

We traded in the hustle and bustle of town life for a quieter life in the country and never looked back. We found our happy place and hope you enjoy sharing it with us.
We try to be as self-sufficient as possible with solar energy, our own water supply, and a veggie patch which I'm still trying to master. Some of the produce at breakfast will come from the farmstead. Jam and eggs in particular, but sometimes, tomatoes too.
Breakfast is typically full English, but with a bit of notice, we can also offer American pancakes with fruit and yogurt, or pastries. We can accommodate most tastes and dietary requirements, if you let us know your preferences in advance.
The cottage is located in a hamlet of nine houses with little streams, woods and a footpath nearby. Its central Cornwall location makes it an ideal base from which to explore all the county has to offer.
The house itself was built in the 1800s and has very thick granite walls. It is situated on a smallholding of approximately 2.5 acres where we have sheep, ducks, chickens, a cat and two well-behaved dogs. You are welcome to help us feed the animals.
