We are a family run business who pride ourselves on providing exceptional accommodation to both corporate and leisure guests on a short and mid term rental basis across the United Kingdom. The name "Above Rubies" stems from our desire to truly value and appreciate our guests and go above and beyond to meet their accommodation needs. We believe that our guests are the foundation of our business and that their worth is far "Above Rubies"! We understand that our business is based on relationships with people, and we nurture these relationships with our guests, partners, and also our staff, just as we would with family.
Property information
Set above a Pavé (a quaint Bistro) and situated in the heart of Brontë Country with exceptional views down Main Street, the living area is flooded with natural light. There are deep sofas surrounding the large wood burner, a feature stone wall with a huge 75" smart TV (including netflix) and a dining area, this room really does have the wow factor. With first class soft furnishings and styling, no expense has been spared to ensure that visitors will wish to return time and time again.
The contemporary kitchen boasts a quooker boiling water tap, four ovens, inluding a built in combi-microwave and a six ring induction hob, perfect for the chef in the family to cook delicious meals after a long day exploring. Complete with a Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washer/Dryer and even a Nespresso coffee machine along with a selection of coffee pods the kitchen is fully equipped with all you need for a comfortable home from home stay. There is a quaint patio area with seating to the rear of the property, providing an ideal spot for al fresco dining after a long day exploring all Haworth and the surrounding areas have to offer.
The three well-appointed bedrooms offer comfortable hotel quality beds, the master bedroom having a king size bed, it's own ensuite, with luxury shower, wall to wall wardrobes and a 42" TV with freeview. The second bedroom boasts a double bed with a dressing table and chair and a 40" TV with freeview. While the third bedroom is comfortable and spacious twin with 2 single beds and a 40" TV complete with freeview also. There is also a separate contemporary bathroom with another luxury walk-in shower.
The apartment has a secure, private entrance along with its own dedicated parking area for approx 3 cars (dependent on their size). Parking is highly sought after in Haworth, especially for the properties on Main Street. There is also an outside, lockable bike store suitable for 4 bikes for all the cycling enthusiasts that love to visit the area.
Neighbourhood information
Situated on Haworth’s renowned cobbled Main Street, there are an abundance of coffee houses and cafes, traditional pubs and numerous restaurants and bars where you can sit and watch the world go by. You can enjoy a pint of locally brewed ale or why not treat yourself to a cream tea?
Please note that you may experience some noise from local establishments during your stay due to the apartments central location!
Haworth has a year round events programme, from the 1940’s themed weekend in May to it's 1960’s themed weekend in June. Hawortheen is on at the end of October and with Steampunk and the switching on of the Christmas lights in November, you really are spoilt for choice all year round! And lets not forget Haworth’s Magical Victorian Christmas, which will definitely get you into the Christmas spirit with events including Scroggling the Holly and the Torchlight Procession. With a firm family treat being the Santa Special at The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.
This walkers paradise offers miles of public footpaths, the most famous of which is the Brontë Way, taking visitors over the Brontë Bridge and out onto the bleak moorland to Top Withins. Stunning scenery surrounds this traditional West Yorkshire village with the bleak but beautiful moors, that provided the inspiration behind much of the Brontë Sisters writing.
The Worth Valley Steam Railway is just a short 10 minute walk down the cobbled Main Street; famed for its connection with the film ‘The Railway Children’. The market towns of Skipton, Pateley Bridge, Otley and Ilkley are also within a short drive and a little further afield is the spa town of Harrogate, home to the famous Bettys Café and Tea Rooms.
