Airdside Cottage is a wonderfully well-equipped holiday cottage, set on a small farm overlooking Crossmichael with the most fabulous views towards the village and out over Loch Ken. This comfortable cottage is the perfect place to unwind and relax, and of course is ideally placed to enjoy the splendours of the stunning Dumfries and Galloway countryside. On the ground floor there is a lovely cosy living/dining room boasting a large picture window, taking in the view along with a very well-equipped kitchen – cooking won’t be a chore as again the kitchen boasts those fabulous views! Also, on the ground floor there is a bathroom with walk-in shower and separate bath. Upstairs you have three comfortable bedrooms at Airdside Cottage. Crossmichael is around 1 mile away and has a post office/village shop and a local pub which also serves excellent food. Castle Douglas, Scotland’s food town, is a 5-minute drive away and is a delightful small market town with an array of independent shops selling produce and quality gifts. There are number of cafés, pubs, and restaurants to enjoy a meal in, as well as excellent butchers and food shops for you to sample the local produce.
