Refurbished for 2023 our loch-side family-run Bed and Breakfast in Portree provides quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Alan and Alex (and Oatie, our very friendly Golden Retriever) look forward to welcoming you to our island home. We adapted our two guest rooms to make them as safe and self-contained as possible following the pandemic - our guests loved the changes. In 2022 we refurbished our guests rooms to improve on these adaptations, including a dining space in-room, breakfast service to your bedroom, and others. Additionally we have adapted our check-in/check-out procedures to make them as contact-free as possible. The Macleod's of Fisherfield have lived on this croft for over 150 years. For the last 40 years, and counting, and through three generations our family have offered guests from around the world Highland Hospitality on the same site. An-Airidh is set near the shore of Loch Portree overlooking the bay towards Ben Tianavaig and Raasay; An-Airidh is an excellent base for exploring Skye. 5 minutes walk from the Isle of Skye Candle Company visitor centre and Deli Gasta Portree. 15 minutes walk to centre of Portree. All rooms are en-suite with bath and shower, LED heated mirrors, bedrooms offer flat screen TVs, mini-fridge, microwave, tea & coffee making facilities, free wifi, hairdryers, and stunning views overlooking our old family croft and Loch Portree. There is plenty of free car parking available. The loch in front of An-Airidh is home to seals, and if you are very lucky you might spot otters playing in the garden. Cast your eye over the loch to the hill beyond, called Ben Tianavaig, when you open your bedroom curtains in the morning and you might be lucky enough to spot the neighbouring white-tailed sea-eagles.
An-Airidh Bed and Breakfast is a family-run Bed and Breakfast from our home on the shore of Loch Portree in an area known as Fisherfield, in the capital of Skye, Portree. The MacLeod family have lived on this former croft since the 1790's, we offer quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation in our family home and have done so for the last 40+ years. From the moment you arrive we, Alan, Alex and Oatie (our Golden Retriever) will give you a warm welcome, and we aim to put you completely at ease and make your stay with us as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
An-Airidh is our family home in Portree located just of the main road from the south. We offer quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation with room only being available in Low Season. Our location is perfect for exploring all of Skye, with the added benefit of being walking distance from shops and restaurants in Portree; just far enough away from the bustle to enjoy our stunning surroundings on the shore of Loch Portree, overlooking the bay towards Ben Tianavaig.
