Guests love ANCHORAGEWELLS .com LOCATION, our lovely modern 1 bedroom self catering apartment a few steps from the Harbour with its own parking space, close to the shops and restaurants open all year and a lovely walk to probably the best beach in Britain. Our well equipped apartment also has a shared terrace with a bench with a partial seaview of the harbour and the sea a few steps away. Some availability can only be booked with Avril at AnchorageWells by email. We also have a King Ensuite Rooms just around the corner, set in a peaceful yard with 3 comfortable king rooms is on a separate listing on room only, partial harbour views, all with comfy chairs/sofa, access to your own fridge and an outdoor terrace. NEW free WIFI is now available. Wifi is affected when Wells is busy, so speed is not guarenteed and it may not be suitable for streaming
DOG POLICY: Sorry we do not accept dogs at the moment. Contactless CHECK-IN information will be emailed a week before arrival with the keybox code, wifi password and everything you need to find the apartment and have an easy check in. We are not available all the time we often live aboard a boat, get involved in many activities in the community including seal rescue, coast watch, sailing and of course the harbour at the centre of our lives. AnchorageWells Harbour Apartment is 14 Tunns Yard a few steps from the quay and seafront and AnchorageWells King rooms 2 minutes walk away. All in a great, but quiet location for the harbour, beach, local walks, bars and restaurants and a local bus service calling in at every village from Hunstanton through to Cromer. Wells is right in the middle making it the best place to stay to explore, walk or watch our beautiful coast and wildlife. Park your car and leave it as you won't need it until leaving. Parking: The apartment has its OWN PARKING SPACE opposite. Expect to reverse into the parking space as all of the yards this close to the harbour were originally designed for horse and carts. Wells has a small harbour, a large sandy beach, sweeping dunes, surrounded by pinewoods, and thus caters for most tastes and weathers. The harbour is home to a small fishing fleet, but in summer is busy with a range of vessels from kayaks to sea going cruisers with several hundred moorings, some vessels, like us, mooring here all year round and a pontoon, often mooring visiting boats 3 deep during summer. In winter the salt marshes are home to very large numbers of visiting waders and geese that fill the sky above us with there amazing display of formation flying.
