Barmouth is a thriving seaside town ideally located for exploring North Wales and the Snowdonia national park. The town benefits from bus and railway services, shops, bars restaurants and cafes, a beautiful beach, mountain views and good road links. The older parts of town are around the harbour area where many walkways take you through the older areas on 'the rock' up into the hills beyond. Unless you want to head further afield you can park the car on arrival and forget about it until you leave if you want to. If you want to get out on the when you're in Barmouth, try Stand Up Paddleboarding with SUP Barmouth. The waters here are perfect for it and the Mawddach estuary is number 2 on Red Bull's top 10 UK Paddleboard Adventures to tick off.

Newly refurbished for the start of 2019 in comfortable modern style with pleasant contemporary décor and tasteful lighting options well equipped for your comfort and enjoyment. Apartment Chic occupies the first floor of our building and is a completely self-contained 'home-from-home'. There are 2 separate bedrooms, the double room has the sea view and a juliet balcony. There are 2 single beds in the other bedroom. All linen and towels are provided for your stay. We have an open plan living room incorporating a dining area and fully equipped kitchen. There are sea views from the large bay window. For entertainment we have the smart tv and dvd/bluray player and of course effective wi-fi is available and free. The bathroom is fully fitted out with a bathtub and shower available. The apartment has full gas central heating and constantly available hot water under your control. Outside at the front of the building there is the terrace with furniture and the barbeque for outside dining. Everything is close by so you don't need the car. The beach is just a 7 minute walk across the park and the town is a 5 minute walk to all the shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs etc.

Barmouth is a beautiful part of Snowdonia to visit. Our terrace is in a quiet position, high above the road just outside of the town centre overlooking the park, but close enough to walk in to the shops, pubs and cafes etc. As well as the stunning beach and harbour there's a great selection of independent shops as well as a co-op, spar and Iceland for food shopping which are just 5 minutes walk away. Barmouth sits on a narrow strip of land between the mountains and the sea so there's loads to get outdoors for. There's mountain biking, walking and cycling all on the door step so let me know what you're into and I'll make some suggestions. Cadair Idris is a great alternative to Snowdon. It's never very busy and the views over the sea and Snowdonia are stunning. There's leaflets in the flat for other ideas. Everything in Barmouth is within walking distance of the flat. The quickest route to the beach is to go across the park via the path opposite the bottom of the drive. It will take you over the railway footbridge and straight onto the promenade in 6 minutes. If you want to venture further afield and explore up and down the coast do try the Train or Bus!
